Specialty Pharmacy Projects

• Transformed retail system to support the needs of specialty mail service
• Developed tracking system for inventory, dispensing, and compliance to support national specialty drug launch
• Integrated Order Management, Fulfillment, Patient Accounting, and Financials 
• Developed databases and applications to support Pharma partner initiatives
• Merged 16 locations to a common hardware, telecommunications, and software platform
• Developed an automated third-party cash reconciliation system
• Developed an enterprise-wide billing and accounts receivable system that included the coordination of benefits (COB) for Medicare, Medicaid, third party insurance, private programs, and self-pay transactions

Retail Pharmacy Projects

• Performed pharmacy systems assessment and strategic technology consulting
• Developed strategy and architecture plan to integrate mail service, specialty pharmacy, and wholesaling functions for a chain operating over 600 pharmacy locations
• Integrated ScriptMed into web sites to facilitate order management systems functions such as Internet refills, mail order offerings, and patient information processing
• Implemented inventory auto-replenishment system
• Managed multiple RFP’s for pharmacy systems and automation for small- to large-sized chains. 
• Developed strategy to integrate Specialty Pharmacy offering at community pharmacy locations

PBM / Mail Service Projects

• Defined and developed a series of group-based statistical reports
• Conducted business analysis for mail service systems of Order Management, Exception Handling, Customer Service, and A/R
• Identified production efficiency opportunities for a high-volume mail order service which reduced the cost/fill ratio by 30 percent
• Implemented a therapeutic interchange program
• Implemented a high-volume mail service pharmacy from scratch including facility, workflow, systems, and training
• Developed PBM Members Web application tightly integrated to the Pharmacy Systems
• Developed a custom Third Party Reconciliation Module and migrated over 40 million patient records from a previous system

Web Projects

• Implemented a pharmacy system, including integrating it with a web-store
• Performed e-prescribing certifications for a national pharmacy-to-physician connectivity partner
• Developed training and procedure manuals for an e-prescribing connectivity partner
• Defined and developed operating procedures and test plans for a 25K square foot start-up Internet Pharmacy
• Developed web site to facilitate market expansion for an independent retailer
